Jan Rebelles completes his professional-level accordion studies at the Sabadell School of Music and Professional Conservatory, under the instruction of Miquel Àngel Maestro and Blai Navarro.
He was awarded the Professional-Level Diploma of Honor in 2019, 2021, and 2023.
He pursues his higher-education degree at the Catalonia College of Music (ESMUC) under the guidance of professor Mateja Zenzerovic.
He has teaching experience at the PIA in Sabadell and has also worked as a private tutor, teaching both the accordion and music theory.
With the Quintet Piazzolla, he performed at the opening of the UPC Debate League.
His musical training and activities include masterclasses with Andreas Borregaard, Krassimir Sterev, Giorgio Dellarole, and Vladimir Blagojevic.
He competed in the senior category of the Arrasate-Gipuzkoa competition. He also took part in the “Crossing Bellows” project at the Accordion Fest Estonia in Tallinn, representing ESMUC at the opening concert. Furthermore, he participated in the 49th International Accordion Competition in Pula, where he achieved a score of 89.47/100.
